We are pleased to share that Titan Water is now a member of the Closed System Control Association, known across the industry as the CSCA.
For many in building services, the CSCA is a recognised authority on the management and treatment of closed water systems. For those less familiar, it is an organisation focused on improving standards, sharing best practice, and promoting a more consistent approach to closed heating and chilled system care across the UK.
This is not something we have taken lightly. Membership reflects a commitment to working to recognised standards and being accountable to them.
Raising the Standard in Closed System Management
Closed systems, whether they support heating, chilled water or process applications, are often left alone until something starts to go wrong.
Over time, issues such as corrosion, sludge build-up and poor water quality can develop without obvious warning signs. The impact tends to show up later in the form of higher energy use, reduced efficiency and unexpected failures.
We often see the knock-on effect of this when called in by our clients to resolve the symptoms of underlying system issues have been left to develop over a number of years.
The CSCA was established to address these challenges. It brings together specialists who are focused on improving how closed systems are maintained, monitored and treated.
Members are expected to follow clear technical guidance and stay up to date with evolving industry standards. That shared approach helps raise the baseline across the sector.
A Natural Step for Titan Water
Joining the CSCA is a logical step for us. Our work has always been centred around protecting water systems and resolving the kinds of problems that develop when maintenance has been overlooked.
Explore our dedicated page on Closed System Services to see the range of services our team can offer.
Becoming a member strengthens the structure around the way we already operate. It ensures that our processes continue to align with recognised industry guidance, while also giving us access to additional training and technical support.
What This Means for Our Clients
From a client perspective, there are some clear advantages.
A More Consistent Approach
Our work on closed systems will continue to follow a structured and recognised framework. From system assessment through to treatment and ongoing monitoring, you can expect a clear and consistent process.
Greater Transparency
Being part of the CSCA means our methods are aligned with industry standards rather than internal preference. This sits alongside our wider commitment to quality, which you can see across our accreditations and industry memberships.
Ongoing Commitment to Quality
Joining the CSCA is not a box-ticking exercise. Standards continue to evolve, and new methods and technologies are always emerging. Being part of the association helps ensure we stay current and continue to develop the way we deliver our services.
It also reinforces our wider approach as a business. We are not interested in short term fixes. Our focus is on helping clients get the best possible performance from their systems over the long term.
Looking Ahead
Over the coming months, we will be sharing more practical guidance around closed system management. This will include insights into common issues we see on site, how they develop, and what can be done to prevent them.
If you have a closed system that has not been reviewed in some time, it may be worth taking a closer look. Small issues rarely stay small, so f you'd like a bit of support, then contact our team....
